I felt it was too easy, even at hard difficulty. You can smash the AI by hitting the ball with the side of your paddle.

Try playing in a pop-up version instead of the black-out version?
It may be your video card. My game is really slow for me, too, on black-out play mode instead of pop-up play mode.

It would be cool if you had difficulties - especially speed. It was way to slow for me, I don't know if it speeds up or not but it got boring fast. I still gave you a vote of 4.
