Well I just submit my first flash. Actually, it's less of a flash. I consider it a page-by-page comic animation thingy. It's a bunch of pics I MS Painted and put together in Movie Maker and converted to .swf so it sucks balls. I tried doing it in flash with a preloader and all, but I just don't understand it. No preloader, it just loops when it's done, barely any humor, it would work better if I just put each individual picture into a comic strip.

In short, it's probably not gonna pass. We'll see, I'll be shocked if it does. If it does, it may even make Underdog.

So far, the SImpsons are in season 19, and I can sadly say that I've missed a lot of episodes, save He Loves to Fly and He D'oh's, and the very disappointing E! Pluribus Wiggum. I cannot say that I am satisfied. It seems as ever since the Simpsons started using what I call, "Simpsons Movie coloring" (The very high quality, sharp color used in the Simpsons Movie), the episodes cease to entertain me as MUCH as it used to. There are still funny parts, but it's different from the good old seasons 1-18, each episode (except The Wife Aquatic, which I have yet to watch) has left a mark in my memory. Rather than creating a plot and using it to provide subtle yet mind-blowing humor, I find that the Simpsons is going too "Family Guy", that is, trying to fit as much humor into every second of the show. That doesn't really work well for classic Simpsons. I'm not saying the Simpsons turned bad, maybe it's because I've only managed to watch 2 1/2 episodes (including the back have of Eternal moonshine of the Simpson Mind, which pissed me off because near the end, they were summarizing the episode like movies that cut short of funds and have to explain the ending to the characters, I can't really say anything because I didn't watch the whole thing, maybe that would've made it funny, or simply, the Simpsons were making fun of movies that cut short of funds, I don't know. I just felt that they rushed the ending, put it together wrong, made it seem gay, and it was not funny.), that I find the show has lost it's humor. But I can indeed say that E! Pluribus Wiggum has got to be the only worst episode I've ever seen. Maybe the Simpsons is actually still very funny. It's too early for me to judge.

But seriously, what the fuck was all that Alaska shit in the Simpsons movie? I love the beginning and the plot, but the Alaska part somehow made the rest of the movie bad.

Sorry for the Wall of Text.

You know how it goes.

[Insert Name of a Male Figure] was a regular [Insert Occupation]. But on [Insert date of movie release], some shit happens involving a family with spoiled kid you want to kill fucking with the male figure. If there's one way a male actor can ruin his career, it's this. It seems as if one of these movies comes out every fucking month, with the same fucking narrator and the same generic introduction to the commercial.

[Insert Name of a Male Figure] was a regular [Insert Occupation]. But on [Insert date of movie release], shit happens!

I mean, every movie has virtually the same ending, the male figure and the kid turns out to be best friends and shit like that. There's no real humor, an the only attempts come with the male figure getting hit in the nuts by some sort of object.

God I'm fucking tired of these movies.

I decided to deleted my first Audio Submission. Why? It sucked. That's why. Writing a song is hard as shit, especially doing it in a guitar tab editor, which forces me to understand 16th notes, dotted notes, and all that stuff, I can write a good lick, but a song always comes out like a piece of crap.

I've been pondering for days, wonder what it was about "Modern" Rock (by which I mean Pop-Punk and Emo, due to the fact that they are the most popular form of rock music at the moment, on the radio) and I may have come to a conclusion:

The music simply has not evolved since it's origin.

That's right. If you want to write a song, you can only write about about so little things. Chicks being bitches . . . and that's about it.

Take Hard Rock for example. There were 6 different genres of music in the album Led Zeppelin 1 (there are only 9 songs).

Hard Rock is one of the final forms of actual Rock music, which evolved over decades from the blues. Over time, Hard Rock became so well developed that the most legendary bands of all time came from the hard rock/rock and roll eras. The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and so on.

On the other hand, Pop-Punk, not to be confused with actually Punk, and Modern emo emerged shortly after Grunge died out, as new or syncretic forms of music. There's not much variety, and every song in the genres are ripoffs of 2 or 3 original songs, with the same lyrical content, vocal style (of whining rather than actually singing), guitar riff of the same muted Minor/Power chord over and over again, bass line of the same note over and over again, and reused drum beat from every other song. It's pretty talentless and while their origins possessed some sort of skill, because the genres have somehow become extremely popular (thanks to radio stations that play the songs simply because they are new and not good), there a about a million bands with the same song about the same things over and over again.

Still today, the music has not evolved, only declined, so while millions of people will listen to millions shitty songs, people like me won't be wasting their time listening to crap. Instead, we'll be listening to actual well developed music.

And to all you Metal Heads, the quality of metal has been slowly decline as well (especially with Nu-Metal and all these Heavy Metal ripoffs.). The only heavy metal bands I'll be listening to are like, Black Sabbath. Those with their Blues origin (still, because Original Heavy Metal has evolved a lot from the blues. Modern Metal hasn't gone far since Judas Preist destroyed the blues concept in metal).

This post is so out of order I doubt anyone will get it. I'm better off writing off a book in the future.

EDIT: Ehh, screw this post. I don't even want to justify myself anymore. Rock and Roll rules and that's all I need to say.

My first Audio Submission finally passed, it's not anything special. I don't even really like it, but this is NG history for me. I'll make a better piece later.

My whistle is Normal again!

(I may just have broken it again)

I don't usually do digital music - as a matter of fact, my Audio Submission is actually a Guitar TAB I wrote down in the TAB Editing software Powertabs, that I converted to MIDI and then to MP3.

Hope it doesn't suck. (I don't think it's that great, it's probably gonna get around a 2.5 score).

Another 3 day ban for "backseat modding".

The guy who made the thread asked for it.

Bastard.

Shouldn't have blown it.

Hell, I'm going back to flagging abusive reviews now.

Finding times to blow the whistles is too damn hard.

ADD: You know what? I'm not gonna care about my whistle. It doesn't affect voting level so I can get it to the lowest point possible. I'm just gonna flag/blow the whistle on anything that seems like it breaks the rules to me, and hope I get the whistle to deity. If my whistle turns to shit so what.
